Re: Re: Re: maf mods??

Don't take out the air straightener..it is there for a reason. You will not likely see ANY improvements if you do this. Besides, you might f'up the sensor..they are not cheap. The only time you would ever need a MAF upgrade is if you are pushing over 300HP, abou the limit of a vg MAF according to the z31 guys.

I'm glad that air straightener is in the MAF. Just the other day I walked out of my house, and the air all around me was bent!! It was all I could do to convince myself to suck it up, and drive to work anyway

I have a spare MAFS that I could sell you (it fits all 3rd gens - SE/GXE/VE/VG).
Buy it from me and do some testing. Then if something were to happen, you always have your old stock one to put back in.

It's a win-win situation for everyone

apparantly not, I've been trying to sell this one for a couple weeks now

if someone buys it, I'll throw in a free 8.5"x11" picture of my car (you can choose which pic). It's suitable for framing and makes a great gift. Before you know it, the holidays will be here and who doesn't want a picture of my car.
My car by centennial olympic park - bring back the memories of Atlanta 1996 Summer Olympics
My car by the "Tech Tower" at Georgia Institute of Technology - you can pretend you're a dork and go there too
My car by Snelling Dining Hall at that other school in Georgia (UGA) - ok, so you can't get into GT, but UGA isn't that bad I guess
My car in front of some big office building in downtown Altanta - you could pretend it's your car and you work at that building

JUST BUY THE STUPID MAFS!!!

I think Skymax did a "secret" MAF mod to his. You might be able to get the secret from him since he has an Integra now.
