I did a nationwide search using cars.com and autotrader.com and countless other methods. There were several everywhere. Tell me where you are at and I'll let you know what I found in your area. Mine came from Chicago and I am in Texas. It's black with tan leather, and 89K for $3100

There's always a lot here in Colorado in the paper. DaBoxSE found some pretty easily too. It's hard to find one in good shape though.

I saw one in Sacremento on autotrader.com Also, Santa Barbara (one of the ones I almost bought).

So did you go all the way up to Chicago to test/drive it?

I mean let's say I found one not in the immediate TX area (driving distance), then I couldnt really go check it out, drive it, etc. That'd be a problem.

I can probably go up to $6.5-7k but I'm really only looking at the $5k range. If I paid upwards of $6-7k it'd better be in freakin flawless condition. lol

Yep, I went there on a one-way ticket to look at the one I bought and one other one that I found on autotrader.com. I figured that I'd get one of the two, so I spent $140 on a one-way to check it out.

That only contains the cars where people actually specified 5 Speed by category. There are many others that just listed it in a general description (that's how I found mine). You'll have to go back and put any trans type, and just sift through the GXE's and SE autos.

If you are looking for southeastern ct and nyc then you should be checking out www.bargainnews.com I have gotten at least 4 cars from there over the years and countless car parts and non-car related items. It has nice search facilities online that let you search by year, price, area code, etc.
