can anyone with a 93SE tell me if your tank is highly pressurised lets out a whish sound when you open the gas cap. None of my other cars do. I've been having an intermittant problem with surging/cutting out and am wondering if its related to the fuel pressure regulator.

 

Mine only does that when I'm on "E" and need some gas. I guess it's my car's way of telling me "put some gas in, stupid!"
