You Guys Want A Billet Grille Made for 3rd Geners??

I can get Trenz to make a billet grille for your maximas similar to the one for 95-96. Please respond with your comments. If interested I need a factory grille to send to use as a prototype. You will be reimbursed with a free grille.
Thanks,
Greg

Hey greg, that sounds cool... which grille type are you basing it from, the 89-91 or 92-94?

shouldn't matter, the overall shape and mounting are the same

I would assume the billet would replace it all, right?

personally, I dont like the Trenz 4th gen ones at all, but some people do so that's cool

I think it would look nice painted body color. But I like a Nissan-less 92-94 SE grill best.

There is no outer rim on the billet grill. It's just horizontal slats.

I'm not really a big fan of billet grilles on 3rd gens (or 4th gens for that matter). But I say go for it anyway.

Who knows the finished product may change my mind.

i think it would look great..
main problem i am not relly that big of a fan of them on the 4th gen is because of the grille slot being shaped so ecentric. If it was a flat rectangle or at least a more plain shape, it would look better...
The 3rd gen grille is pretty simple.. a billet grille would look great in my mind, especially body color.

I talked to Greg a couple of days ago to be the grill donor. I sent it off yesterday, and he said it would take about 4-5 weeks to be produced from there. I can't wait!!!

I would've been interrested in this billet grill, but I'm probably going to start cutting tomorrow to make a mesh insert one. I have a test piece of mesh already formed to transfer onto the final piece and my body shop said they can work in getting my grill frame repainted any time. Thinking about adding a Nismo badge with epoxy too. May be done by the end of this coming week.
Hopefully getting my tranny cooler put in tomorrow too. I have some Autometer Phantoms to get put in as soon as I get the temp manifold installed for the tranny temp gage.

Anything new for the 3rd Gen...

...I say go for it. We're already underrepresented as far as a lot of parts go. I think the more these companies know that there ARE buyers out there for their products, they'll come out with more stuff for us. After I get the damage done to my side repaired, and finish with registering my car for this year, I'd definitely be interested! Keep us posted, bro!
