messed up s plug

the other day while driving my max it all of a sudden had absolutely zero response (even @ 5k rpm). so went to my friends house and plugged it up to a timing light. we discovered that the #2 piston wasn't firing worth sh*t. we took off the thing on top of the spark plug only to find it looked like it was smashed by a hammer or something. anybody know what possibly could have happened and why i'm gonna have to spend 60 bucks to get it drilled out and fixed.

Wow, I have no idea how that could happen, it would have to take the whole part where the socket goes on off, but it still left the bottom part. Who worked on the spark plugs last?

no idea who worked on them last. i've had the car bout 2.5 years and haven't looked at the plugs until this happened. just opened my eyes to how important engine maintenance is.
