No front plates, dark paint, and Laser speed detection

I'm of the assumption that its difficult to be targeted by police with Laser if your paint is dark and you have no plate.

Laser speed detectors work by reflecting light (around 980nm, just beyond visible red) usually off the front of your car, and typically they target your front license plate, which is highly reflective.

I've been clocked by laser about 4-5 times now, usually going about 80mph on MA I95 or I93, but never got pulled over. My detector goes nuts, and there were few cars on the road, so it is pretty easy to single me out. Of course I slow down right away, but by then it's too late.

Have I just been lucky, or do you think my black car with no front plate has anything to do with it? Maybe they were looking for REAL speeders?

If there was more traffic they would pull you over because then you would be a hazard to all the other drivers. Other than that 80 is pretty normal of 1-95 when traffic is sparse.

I suggest that you stop trying to find method of eluding the police. When they pull you over you'll get fined for everything. 80 mph is good, no reason to go above that everyday.
