I am officially converting from eibach to intrax...
in a month or so. i'll sell my eibach's to any one. they are about a year old and have been broken in nicely, i don't race around corners or anything and go slow over speed bumps and dips in the road. where do you guys think i should by my springs and shocks. i'm gonna go with some tokicos, what model should i get. i'm not really familiar with the entire line of shocks they make. i'm comtemplating on either getting the springs from stillen, nopi, or a performance place near my house. i think i'll get the shoks from carparts.com because my friend did that and you get, i think, 30% your frist order. any info and/or feedback is appreciated
If you're really getting Intrax, I would go Konis -->
My Toks/Eibachs have been OK for the past 18 months, but I can tell that I will have to replace the Toks with something else. They are gradually getting softer, although nothing like their reputation for softening with the 4th gen guys.
IMHO, the extra drop of the Intrax puts shock dampening performance at a premium. Therefore, I would spend the extra $$$ and get Konis....
From a previous post of mine using the search feature (very handy):
"Their coupon code for 33% off, #1963005, can be used to yield the following prices:
95 to 99 Maxes
Koni Sport Struts
Front: $219 after shipping to TN (sales tax if in CA)
Rear: $206 after shipping to TN (sales tax if in CA)
That's $425 delivered for a set of Konis!
Of course, you have to place 2 seperate orders because the 33% off only applies to the first $300 of the purchase. And be sure to clear your carparts.com cookie in between orders.
Eibach Pro-Kit
$217 after shipping ($184 plus $34 shipping) to TN using the coupon (sales tax if in CA).
H & R Sportline Springs
$201 after shipping ($171 plus $30 shipping) to TN using the coupon (sales tax if in CA).
Tokico Struts
Oddly, carparts.com doesn't "appear" to have them for 95 to 99 Maxes. You can get them for 89 to 94 Maxes for $280 shipped (sales tax if in CA)."

Hey, whenever you decide to sell your Eibach's, let me know! My e-mail is VanHalen34@aol.com, and i'm pretty intersted in getting a pair of Eibach's or Intrax, but i look sport over looks and i've heard that Eibach's are better for sport. But just let me know.
