Help with Tranny

I have a 91 maxima, 5sp. How messed up is my tranny?, I cant shift in to first or second. Do I need a new Tranny? Could this be fixed with our replacing the tranny? How much would this be? Someone help.

With 2 people

It would cost around $350-700 for another tranny from www.car-part.com. Then if you had all the tools plus a helper and 2 jacks it would take about 8-15 hours for install the first time. If you take it to a shop expect to pay around $900-1500 for a rebuilt one.

Could be a shift fork. But you would probably have to take apart the tranny to get at them. Alot of labor.
