hello people of the .org. i just purchased the greatest mod a 3rd gen owner can get - a 5-speed. what a difference. it has a new (300 miles) beefed up transmission and a PRCAI. here are some pics. geocities is crappy so keep trying......

Welcome to the SE zone with a 5, I know your loving it!!!

 

Man I have had my SE for going on 2+ years now, and have fixed near everything on it. Just rebuilt Window regulators on Saturday, and fixed my windshield washer arms to mention only a tiny bit of what I have done inclduing installing my short throw shifter, BMW e36 ZKW Parabolic /Free form headlights, etc. as for the 5 speed I would not have any car any other way, not even a JAG, porshe 928, or anything else for that matter, we have a 4 door sports car in my eyes, and therefore there is no reason to get an "automagic," sorry I am so opinionated, but oh well. Why I bout the automatic 1992 Maxima SE parts car was it was cheap and I wanted the engine to do some trickery to it, and since I knew the engine from the parts car has 92k actual milage and the vtcs have been replaced recently unlike in my car where the ticking continues.

Sorry to get ****y, but I am not NEW to the wonderful world o maximas at all, especially if you count working on my cousin's 1994 GXE when he had his also back in 96-97 before he got drunk and wrecked it.
