That's not really a con, considering how you don't have one in the first place

pros -
keeps your tranny cooler
increases life of your tranny

cons -
extreme cold weather you'll have a longer warm up time
- longer warm up means delayed OD gear

If you fit one of the larger sized coolers the trans will run under Nissans minimum operating temp during winter unless you either disconnect it or cover the fins. I fitted the largest one I could find and it used to run around 15/20 degrees F too cool on the freeway and our winters are very mild (no snow, never freezing). Not sure whether continued stints of driving slightly undertemp fluid is overly bad for the trans or not, just thought I'd share.

Having the big cooler was great in summer though.

Bleh, I stand corrected... Somewhat... I posted after I woke up and thought you meant if it was too small, didn't even consider too big!
