tint

i know a couple of u guys have used spary tint. im thinking about buying some from autodynamics. i have some questions
what process do u use for applying
any horror or bad exerences
what brands did u use
any other help u can add to this topic

i am thinking about doing my clear corners and the white part of my rear se end

hmm...

My guess is, anything that normaully requires a trained pro to do, usually turns out to be 2nd rate at best when you attempt to do it yourself.
You want your car to look it's best. So save up - do it right.
As for the clear corners, why get clears only to black them out? Or am I misunderstanding what you are saying?

here's a tip

if you use the spray tint, spray close to the lense, and move quickly across, the spray will come out flat and even, if you hold it as the recomend (like 12-16 inches away) it will come out looking dull... there ya go

thanks how think should i apply and do i need a clear coat on top will it flake off? do i need to prepare the surface?

do it from the inside then you wont need a clear coat

i dont think that is possible i dont have a heat gunn
i wan to do the rear clear stripe (reverslights and all)
so i will need clear coat right?
ps i am drunk its 3 09 am did this make any sensse

do you feel special now? do you have a set of stock corners? if so just practice on them, or on something else, its like painting anything else, you have to develope a technique

yes practice before you do it... even with a clear coat you might have problems with the tint flaking off or doing ugly crap like that... but oh well try it if ya want to! let us know how it turns out!
