Twice now. During normal rate of acceleration engine seems to die for half a second or so. 1991 GXE. Watch tach go from normal 2200 to about 1000 when it dies, then right back to 2200 and normal acceleration. Did this about 15 times during last episode.

Only happened twice in last 50 miles, so hard to duplicate. Running perfect most of time ????

Alternator, battery, timing belt, water pump, belts, etc all replaced in last 500 miles. Car has 145K miles.

Thanks Supa, once I knew where to search took the electronic cleaner recommendation. Has worked for 400+ miles.
