any mods since my heads are off

92 GXE. I have a broken exhaust manifold bolt broken into the head near the firewall. since I have to take my head off to get the bolt machined out, what mods could I do since the top half of my engine is apart.

hmmm aside from the fact that you don't have to pull the heads to do that bolt, there's tons of things you can do to it- just have to have some brains and knowledge of cars.

There is no way to use easy-out because of the angle of the bolt. Please explain how to take out the bolt without taking out the head.

Front or back side? Front should be easy. Back might be hard. I didn't take my heads off, I just took out the motor

The bolt is on the firewall side. If you were sitting in the driver seat, it would be on the top left corner of the head.

I used a special angled drill extension that was 90 deg.

It worked pretty good on my 90.
