Looking for a gold trunk spoiler

Has this ever happened to you; The wife goes to the garage, fires up the Maxima, mashes the garage door opener, and backs out BEFORE the door is all the way up? As the door is going up, the handle catches under the spoiler ripping it off the trunk and snapping the connections just above the base(s). Well, I didn't really think it happened to you. Lucky me.

Could have been worse. Thankfully the metal wasn't really touched, just the fiberglass busted off beyond repair. I simply removed all of the fiberglass base(s) and put some plastic plugs over the screw holes (and the 3rd brake light wire hole.) I've been meaning to check around at local junkyards for a replacement spoiler, but thought I'd post here. Never know if someone took their stock tail off their car for some reason. Anyway, I'm looking for a used fin...hopefully in pebble beige color with good paint. I'm not impressed with the aftermarket units for sale on Ebay as the mounting is different as well as the brake light wiring. I'd rather have a stock unit to put back on with a matching mounting/wiring setup. Just wondering what might be floating around out there.

Sorry to hear your story. Good luck getting a spoiler.
To better help you, you may want to put this in the classified section.
http://forums.maxima.org/forumdisplay.php?f=61
You'll probably get more help there. Just put a WTB in the topic instead of FS.

Sounds interesting...please give me a price ---- mrcooltrains(at)yahoo(dot)com ---- too bad it's primered. By the way...why is it primered? I live in Chattanooga but have a stepdaughter in Cincy.
