The guy is a donating member which could post this in OT. Tell me, what does this have to do with selling anything?

edit: I didn't know it was your ride that was being posted. My bad and good luck with your sale.

Not sure why you're giving Nismotic a hard time. He's right, it does not belong in this forum. Hoping the this will be closed real soon but don't be giving crap because he's right. This has nothing to do with someone selling something on the forum.

Dont like the paint job? Repaint 4 $800
Interior 2much? junk yard/parts car $300
hmmm$3600 for a clean max
even cheaper as is or if u DIY

I know it's suppose to be a humorous thread, but check the main forums; there must be 17 a day on the same "click this ebay link because I was looking for crap for my car and came across this" thread. It just gets old and clutters up other threads of ACTUAL FS threads.

Good looking out Cdg.

It's the same price everywhere. 3-6 grand for a decent paint job. 800 for a shotty paint job.

I agree a 95 with 104k for anly $2500 is not bad if you think about it, but it is only a minimum bid offer, it hasnt been bid on yet. In NH it must not be a sought after car, here in Cleveland it'll be worth an easy grand more, and thats lowest offer. Ill put this baby in front of my shop, I bet I could get at least 4k

Same price 4 U maybe I have estimates from $800(spray no body work)- $2500(replace f/r bumper lower rad support paint & body.
"shotty" UHH no I have seen work from all these shops
A guy from my old job had his max painted for 400 a few years back (different shop)STILL SHINING.
My lower rad support & trunk fuel lid opener is on its way from courtesy nissan
After the vehicle is painted I will be glad to post before/after pics.
Shoot Just in case you think my "shoddy" paint jobs wont hold ,you can pm me for updated pics a year from now.
I understand you think "you get what you paid for" is a phrase to live by.
But quality work should not always be measured by the dollar.
My labor rate for small jobs is half the price of most shops & dealers
Does my labor rate reflect "shotty" work ? no unsatisfied customers till this day (0 comebacks) Go figure Maybe you guys should shop around a lil more.

What in God's name are you babbling about?

I'm not going into a full detail argument because I don't give a ****. Think about it...how much does decent paint and clear coat really cost? How many coats are they putting down? Are they painting the door jams, engine bay, removing the headlights, etc etc? I highly doubt it.

400 bucks for a paint job that still shines? Maaco must've had a hell of a coupon.

Go do a search and you'll see that 9/10 a decent paint job cost AT LEAST (and the very least) 1500...and that's pushing it.

May the force be with you? wtf?

Can I step in to this off topic shouting match

If you "know people" it is possible, I have this guy who owns a shop who gives me hella paint and body deals when I go there, Im talking ie.. I had a 99 Tahoe LT green/beige metallic two tone, somebody hit my rr qtr panel, just for that one section I got quotes of $3500 because of the complexity of the paint, my dude painted it for 1300 way less than half the price. And you cant tell the difference. It was a lease return and they couldnt tell it was painted.

Why curse? If you dont care Why are you still replying to this post I see you have a issue with being wrong soo What i am going to do is ...say you are right I should think about it and i did . Shops can have extra paint and clear coat on the shelf. This will bring the supply cost down a bit Especially since 1 of my cars is black . Seeing that i am having both bumpers replaced I would asume that requires removal of my head lights. Also an average paint job does not require painting the engine bay door or trunk jams etc. (Unless you are changing the color) "Doubt" my fellow org member is why you will probably spend $3500 on a paint job rather than doing your research like i did and saving a few bucks.
Think before you speak Think before you post . Try not to be so negative.
