FS/GI: Custom Eyelids for 97-99
I have a friend making cusom eyelids for the 4th gens, There are two types.
These fit on 97-99 housings AS WELL as the new one peice headlights that they are selling on ebay (r34 type headlights).
These are VERY good quality and made of fiberglass, they are very thin and flexible and attach using double sided tape like most eyelids.
In order to install these you will need to shave off the top "nipple" on the headlight housing as the eyelid must go over this part of the housing, there are are total of 3 (2 on the bottom and 1 on the top) you will need to shave off the ONE AT THE TOP ONLY. This was done on my max with some simple masking tape and a grinder....with the eyelid off, you cant even tell that the "nipple" was grinded off...very un-noticeable...
Now for PICS!
Small (thin) ones:

Big (Thicker) ones:

Comparison between the two:

Insallation process (shaving off the TOP nipple, this is after we shaved them) Its so small its hard to see after its shaved off. And you don't have to shave it completely flush.. just don't leave it taller then the double stick tape and it should be fine:

Sweet....I will be getting a pair soon...I've been looking for ones that sit flush w/ the headlights, and corner llights....quick question... does shaving off the nipple on the headlight make a hole in the headlight? And did u shave it completly smooth or just enough for the eylid to fit??
Nice Eylids!!!

cefiros are diffrent right off the bat. the shape and design.
r34 is just a one peice unit but it was design of a maxima headlight. cefiro is designed off the i30 headlights. hence the reason why i30's cant use r34. So i would say no to that unless he makes a custom one for u

Give it about a week or so, takes aboud 2-4 days to make them....And Im assuming it takes a few days to a week to get shipped to your door depending on where you live...
These are custom hand made each set.....Like Law said, please be patient.

Yes the Big ones sit just as flush as the smaller ones...and to be honest light output was one of the biggest things i was concerned about when installing these...and to this day, i have not been able to notice any difference in light output...I have stock headlights in as well...no hyperwhite PIAA's or anything, just whatever the 97-99 headlights i bought came with...visibility is great even with the big ones...
