WTB: S-Tech Teins

Does anyone have a set of Teins with the 2.2 ft and 1.8 rear drop used?

Well, if your ready to slam it...you're not gonna do it with S-Techs!!!
Your're gonna need coilovers for that.

If you're gonna slam it, do it right the first time around. I'm 99% sure that with the rear end stickin up with stech's, you're going to want a lower stance overall. I've seen some ksport's intermittently floatin around.

Well I don't mind the 1.8 drop in the rear. I know I'm dropped 1.5 in the rear now on progress.

I just want a more aggressive look ya know. My Gr2's are only a week old I figure the ride wouldn't be that bad. Actually the ride I'm getting now is quiet good lol

The drop difference between Progress & S-techs are very minimal.

aren't the H-techs and Progress similar? And S-tech like a 2.0" drop in front? I don't know about the rear.

The only reason I say that H-techs and Progress are similar because I'm riding on H-techs and my sister is riding on Progress, and I see almost no difference in our stance.

Do the finger test. See if you can place 4 fingers between the top of the wheel and the fender. Progress gives you 3 fingers, teins gives you 2 fingers while stocks give you 4 fingers.

Dont wanna pollute your thread, but if Eibachs are for chumps, then i guess chumps are the only ones who care about suspension travel?

Im sure you are aware of this but S-Techs almost ride on the bumpstops with the car on the ground. They have too low of a spring rate for that drop, if anything sprints would be the better for that drop because there a lot more stiff then s-techs. But im sure you are well aware of this as you have made your decision on s-techs. PS: GR2's i would not recommend with an s-tech drop. If you are going to, illuminas, agx or koni.

good luck!

Yeah your right my gr-2's haven't settled yet which is fine. Gr2's are fine and fiscally responsible. My Maxima is only going to get old so why spend and invest more in a car than what its worth? and no I don't believe everything I read. Too bad when guys go to sell their cars they can't get what its worth so they end up either having to part it out or take a hit on the selling price.

This is true. I've put in over $2k in upgrades and installation in my car (i know thats not much), and god knows how much in maintenance. Whats sad is if I decide to sell it now, I will not get a penny back of that, expecially since I didnt keep any stock parts. At the same time tho I don't want to go with cheap crap on my car, so I gotte take a hit.

Oh i almost forgot to add, I have s-techs installed on my car. The ride height is nice, but I wouldnt call my car "slammed". 2 finger gap is correct with s-techs. However I have them on KYB AGX shocks. Havnt had them for long, but love them so far.

Nothing wrong with GR2's except they blow very quickly. Still plan on putting mines back on though w/ my s-techs (lifetime warranty on them through Arch).

Currently riding on AGX w/ H&R's.

Same here I got the lifetime Warranty through arch thats why I'm not sweating it if my gr2's blow

However if they do blow then I'll upgrade for a minor fee with the AGX, I don't run my car hard on the nyc streets so I expect for them to last a while. I definitely want the teins, I'll keep the car on my stock 16's unless I find some rims with the dookey fat lips on 18's.

Yea. I do the same thing. Already changed them twice and feels good to know they can be used for the life of the car.

I'm contemptlating on going to either 18 or 19 (leaning towards 19) but can always roll the fenders if push came to shove.

I will keep an eye out for some S-techs for you and if I see any then I'll let you know.
