my max is my only car now and i can't afford to run into problems in my swap and not have my car a day or more. the mevi is more "bolt on" and easier to install plus I might do a swap next year (dek or 3.5)

do you know if it's hard to get a mevi cover?

honestly I'm not sure how hard it is to get a Mevi cover. I know Ionic sells a carbon fiber one I was thinking about getting a while ago, I think it was 150. Course a regular one would be cheaper but i have no idea how much. Actually I need to think more about this too. I'd have to buy new injectors along with this to use it and not sure I want to spend a couple hundred bucks on those at the moment since i'm buying other car stuff.

edit..just found that I can keep my injectors when swapping...so I'm definitely interested

I need to do a tiny bit more research before I make an offer. I can't use your injectors because I'm running a turbo and I have 500 cc injectors and am not looking to buy new ones, downsizing definitely isn't an option though.

So basically all youre missing is some wiring for the injectors and maybe a block off for the 5th gen TB IACV? DO you ever come to maine? I have the MEVI, cover, brackets, vac, lines, etc.... Id need to keep my rpm switch thats it.

would you meet somewhere in the middle? it's still a bit far but I would be willing to do a road trip

It would probably be a tank of gas for the both of us if we met half way, well at least I get crappy mileage like that. Shipping might be cheaper and easier, I was just curious if you came down here at all. I havent been to Canada, nor have I gone further north than Waterville, so I dont know jack for places up there. Either way I could pop the MEVI off whenever. If we did ship Im thinking we pay our own unless you dont think its a fair trade.
