FS: New in box Exedy Stage 1 clutch
Complete Exedy Stage 1 clutch kit still in the box. This was purchased a little while back for my 99, before I started building the 3.5. Well, needless to say, it's a great clutch, but I'm going a little beefier for 3.5.
This clutch is good for 231 lb/ft at the wheels.
Price is $275 shipped. If you check with Justin at Import Car Parts Plus, they are selling for $291 shipped now.

It will work for 5th gen applications (5 speed), but is actually a stronger clutch than the OEM 5th gen replacement. The 5th gen has a clamping force of 1400 lbs., whereas this one has 1760 lbs.
Like a couple of us have said, this clutch is a beast with the 3.5....did more than enough on my 3.5, but hey, to each is own. I think this is rated higher than a 5th gen clutch as well and there are plenty of people using those on 3.5's....

It is rated higher than the OEM 5th gen clutch. Exedy must have it underrated if people are using it on tuned 3.5 swaps. When I spoke with the technical support guy at Exedy, he didn't think it would hold the 3.5. To give you some comparison, the Exedy Stage 1 for the 3.5 is rated to 301 lb/ft at the wheels. That's a big difference.
I dont need a clutch right now, but will probably get to it in the next 3-4 months - I'd be willing to make you an offer on the clutch - email me at alishahz@yahoo.com or call me at (973)879-9096 Thanks - Ali
