So let me ask you this, I am in the process of getting lower control arms changed, so you think I can just change the busings instead of swaaping the whole control arms. Aslo how big of job is this ???, I will appreciate your suggestion. Thanks

Well I will tell you this, it takes an absolute LOT for your control arms to go bad. Those don't have to be changed for the life of the car, however the bushings usually have an 8 yr life of constant wear and tear.

Changing the bushings is really not a big job the only hard part is just taking out the old bushings because they tend to become a pain in the *** taking them out but otherwise than that they are pretty good.

I really appreciate your response, I have about 155k on my car,
and ride is really rough, I juat had brand new struts, inner, outer tie rods, new
link bushings, so the only thing left is Cotrol arams. So if I can get away with bushings, that would be great. And you have one set or both sides. Please let me know, You are in the City so I can probably Pick them up. Let me know......

i just got my bushings replaced, my car has 235k miles and the guy told me he had to torch the bushings to get them off. My car smelt like burn't rubber for a few days like when u peel out and u smell the smoke. Once you replace them the steering wheel will be much more responsive at lower speeds and at higher speeds you cant really tell a difference. For me, my cv axle leaked all over the rubber bushing and destroyed it really fast.
