The clears look very different, my David L's matched 100%.

It could be the lighting/flash though. Bump for a rare product though, not too many people have these. And you might have more luck on ebay, when I sold mine I was getting a lot of lowball offers. Good luck!

 

Sand them down with wetsandpaper then finish with rubbing compound. Spray and done.

fair enough. Do they match the inner tails then? In the pictures it looks like neither the red section nor the clear section looks like it matches the stock tails on the trunk. Is it just the picture angle or do they not match?

 

The red needs to be repainted but once it is, it matches perfectly.

 

man if it's not matching why you selling so damn high of a price for some tails. Hey anyone with a black maxima I will see you a trunk lid for 125 and you can buy the tails off ebay for 75 dollars, PM me if you are interested in doing a conversion.

Either the picture lighting is off, or they are just NOT David L's. I have a set and they dont look anything like that

Flash definitely had an effect. I didn't bother taking any with the flash off b/c I'm clearly stating in the ad that they need refinished.

 

its not the red...its the fact that the white lens doesnt match the inner lens at all. can u snap another picture of them?
