FS: Cattmann Stainless Steel Y-Pipe YG5

All,

I bought this y-pipe directly from Cattmann for $330, brand new. After a month of use I have changed my mind about it and decided to keep my car plain stock. As you can see, the y-pipe is in excellent condition and is available for sale immediately. My asking price is $150 plus shipping. Feel free to contact me with any questions that you might have. Serious and respectable buyers only.

Adrian

All,

Thanks for all the replies. Since I was not expecting this much interest, I have decided to alter my offer slightly. The original offer and price still stands but now I will accept an even lower price if the buyer can provide me a full set of splash guards for the '99 Maxima in exchange. I am looking for a full set in excellent condition, without cracks, chips, or paint off of a '99 Maxima. I will consider '98 only if they are truly in good condition. Reason being, the 4th Gen is now almost ten years old and the older the car, the older the accessories. Nissan no longer makes these and they have become a highly sought out item for me, that along with the leather nose mask. And of course, I will need to see good, detailed pictures of the splash guards before making a decision.

I do not think I am being unreasonable and I have confidence I can find the right person to make the sale. I am located in Utah and I can ship through UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Again, serious and respectable buyers only.

No offense, but I have sent you a PM with no response.

I have the money in paypal, and I even have a set of MINT splash guards (off of a 96, but to my knowledge, they are the exact same).

Get back to me in PM.

if loud3 doesn't take it, it's mine for the price.

And no, I don't have splash guards to trade.

The seller is not serious about selling.

He has had my PM since I originally posted dibs. There has been no response, period.

Sounds like a waste of time to me.

It's been two days, calm down. Some people aren't on maxima.org all day.

He took time out of his day to make a sizable post in here, but couldn't respond to a PM?

Would you like your cup of STFU supersized?

This guy has been a member since '03 & only has 32 posts!
Looks like he has better things to do than be on here all the time.

So relax & he'll get back to you.

Till then STFU...

In my experience, generally... when you want to sell something, and you get a guy that's interested, and is willing to pay asking price for an item...

You DON'T continue to post regarding other issues while he awaits a response from a PM.

And join date, and post count are SO VERY important. I am sorry that I did not take that into consideration.

Hence why I made the claim that the seller wasn't serious about the sale.

And 9 out of 10 educated people would come up with the same conclusion.

I forgot, once again, that I was dealing with 'the .org', top dogs amoung forums.

Seriously, when you have a buyer that comes out, offers to pay asking price... you sell. You don't bull**** around with another post and disregard his/her PM.

Also, note to everyone interested... I am no longer interested. Have at it.

Hey everybody,

I hope everyone enjoyed their Memorial Day weekend, I know I sure did. I apologize for not replying quickly enough to your posts and PMs but as EnervinE has pointed out, I do not spend as much time here as do others and even more rarely post. Hence the 32 posts that I have since joining in 2003. Having said that, I wrote 'serious and respectable buyers only' for a reason as I do not respond to pressure and bullying tactics. I have enough already on my mind.

With that out of the way, the y-pipe is still for sale at $150 + S&H, and if you happen to have a full set of mud guards in excellent condition for trade, I will lower the price even further. If no one comes through on the mud guards then I will just sell the y-pipe per my original asking price, but I am hoping that someone will come through. I will be watching for your replies more closely and respond to you as soon as I am able. Thanks.

Adrian

Gotte agree with loud3 here... You had a buyer that even had mud guards for you... and you just ignored him? I dont get why people post a for sale thread... if you dont check the forums!? (looks like over a week in this case) Doesn't make any sense. Why post here if ur never on to check it??? At least include an e-mail or other means that u check more often in case someone is interested or has a question...

Tho IDK what he said in the PM to you... but wtf r u talking about? The man wanted to buy ur item and was upset that u logged on, made a post in ur for sale thread, but made no reply to his PM. Doesnt sound like any pressure or bullying tactic... just seems like ur salesman tactics suck IMO. No offense tho, and good luck with finding a buyer. Def looks like a nice product for the right price!

Good day.
