starter ring of timing ring?

IIRC the starter ring was basically part of the flywheel and then there was a "timing ring" that bolted on for the CPS to read.

I know I have access to both parts (fergsmax's part-out)...it just may be a while till I can get to them.

Yeah I've been there. I put a Fidanza in over x-mas break. It's the timing gear you're looking for.

I talked to fergsmax today about it...he'll totally sell it to you, but it's gonna be a little while. We have to wait for his garage to get cleaned out so we can put his car there...then we have to take the tranny out. I'll find out how soon this can happen. How soon do you need it?

Yes he does, but again, it wouldn't be soon. Possibly sooner than the timing gear, but not tomorrow or anything. I'll let you know how soon when I find out.
