THIS IS SOLD !!! I really hate to do this, but the time has come to part ways with my beloved ECU. This is a NA must as far as plug and play tuning. Great addition to a 00VI/ MEVI setup for great gains.

SOLD. If your paying with paypal 3% will be added. Please no low ball offers. This ECU is worth ever dollar, and is cheaper than buying brand new and waiting for one. Remember there is no wear and tear on an ECU. I have this posted on another org as well so speak up if you want it. This may go really fast.

Specs:
-This is a 95' Fed Spec ECU that was used on my 96' Fed Spec with no CEL, ran flawlessly.
-7K rpm limit (maybe more, i always shifted at 7K)
-5-speed ECU, so Auto will not work

For all you guys running an 00VI or more especially aMEVI, you won't believe how much you're going to feel the improvement in acceleration.

Asking $550 and pretty firm. If your paying with paypal 3% will be added. Please no low ball offers. This ECU is worth ever dollar, and is cheaper than buying brand new and waiting for one. did you buy this new, if so what are the specs rev limit not what you think, timing and a/f, ie what did you request when the ecu was ordered, do you still have the jtw paperwork encase I want to return it for a reflash and what were your before and after 1/4mile times

not trying to be a d!ck I just really want this ecu and need more info

I bought this from an org member (Iilac). The rev limiter I am sure is extended to 7k. As for a/f and timing, I do not know. Sadly i never got to run at the track with it. The only time I ran my car was when I ran 14.7 w/o it with y-pipe back. High 13's are capable with traction and supporting mods (00VI/MEVI)

Ill tell you that its sooo much of a difference in acceleration. Way smoother, and feels like it just keeps pushing on. If you already have a 00vi and looking for that extra kick, this is it!

When I sent mine in, JWT just gave it there standard NA program with there standard 7k rev limit. Paper work that came with it said nothing about the timing and A/F parameters.

I was just asking cause when I called them they were asking about my setup and if I had any special requests ... aka dual map nitrous program or just a/f and rev limiter adjustments with no advance timing so I can run nitrous without having to cough up another 250 for the dual map program

This doesn't have a dual map for nitrous. Standard tuning, advanced timing, a/f and extended rev for N/A.

Does this throw any CEL's on 97-99 cars? I have a 99 Fed spec 5-speed.

Also, are you interested in any trades?

I had it on my 96' with no CEL, but I am pretty sure this will throw codes on other models. Maybe others with 97-99 can chime in.

Not really interested in trades, unless its something worthwhile. like

Bump.... for a fair price.

My 97 Never had any CEL w/ my 96 Fed Spec Manual JWT ECU

This ECU wouldn't work with a 99 Maxima though. Just Ask Zack342 about that one.

As far as performance wise goes for the ECU, look at my sig. Considering times on street tires: Stock I ran a best 14.82 @ 93.5 mph. W/ MEVI = 14.87@94.5. W/ MEVI + ECU = 14.211 @ 100.25. Just looking at the numbers you can clearly see why I decided not to go the Nitrous route. Yes, NOS + JWT ECU TUNE s/b trap a little higher. It's just so much more of a "WOW" factor to run 13's All Motor.

So yeah, that's about a 5-7 carlength difference if you're talking about on the street. You be the judge. IMO..... Was totally worth it (^_^)

This will work on your 96 maxima with no problems. I had this ECU on my 96 with no CEL. No other tuning is required. This ECU really has nothing to do with inspection. It will pass no problems. As long as you are a 96', no CEL will come on. You take out your old ecu and plug this one in.. its as simple as that. If you come by and pick it up, i'll put the ecu in for you.
