Doing this isn't easy unless you have the right tools and equipment which most people or shops don't have. Even if a shop does have the needed things they will charge you around $25-$50 and you will be without a car for at least a couple hours.

The ES mounts go into my gutted mounts very easy with a 2lb hammer. Don't worry about hitting the polyurethane with a hammer it will not do any damage.

The price will be $100 shipped for the pair.
I am willing to take your mounts as cores though as long as the metal shells can be used. (I don't care if the rubber mounts are cracked since they will be getting pressed out)
You will have to pay shipping charges to ship me your cores which will be under $10 if you use the USPS Priority mail box I ship you the mounts in.
You will have 30 days after receiving my mounts to return yours to me for your core refund.

Electric front mount found on SE and GLE automatic cars. $5
Front mount found on GXE automtic and all model manual cars $25
Rear mount found on all model automatic and manual cars $25
If your unsure if your front mount is electronic just measure the diameter if it is 4" then it is electric.

 

hold up you are confusing me now, I thought you cant put a energy suspension polyurethane mount into the front of an automatic? Thats what Brian from cattman always says???

If you have an SE or GLE automatic you can't. Those models have an electric mount which is 4". If you have an automatic GXE you can.It has the same 3.5" as the front manual mounts. I believe it's just easy for Brian to say all automatics so theres no confusion.

The mounts I am selling you will be able to press ES mounts into and install them on any 95-99 Maxima regardless of model or trans type. The core price will be determined by what mounts I receive back though.

 

Alright so even though I have a GLE auto which has the electronic motor mount it wont matter since i will be getting a non electronic motor mount so I can put in the es mounts with no problems and properly install them into my gle auto without any problems right?

Yes that is all correct.
Since you have a GLE if you wanted to return both your mounts as cores I would refund you $30.

any drawbacks of replacing the electric front mounts with the standard? what exactly makes them electric?

No. Theres alot of speculation on how the electric part works. My understanding is at certain times the mount receives current and either stiffens or softens the mount.
Now for the ES Mounts
Some orgers say the ES mounts are to stiff. I don't think so and use them in my cars. I wouldn't consider using any other mount.

i had the front sensor in my 99 max SE and i eliminated no cel or anything i bought a cheap front motor mount off ebay put the ES inserts in the front and rear and had my boy vadim polyurethane the left & right mounts and it feels like heaven you feel a big difference especially S/C'ed

Also if you do not feel comfortable about pounding the ES inserts into my gutted mounts you can ship or have the ES mounts shipped to me and I will do it for you. That way all you would have to do is bolt them in and ship me the cores back if you chose to do so.

I pay you for the ES inserts which you would purchase from Cattman and for a set of mounts. Without any cores. Front and Rear only. What's my total? and turnaround time after you would receive the ES inserts?

 

After I received the inserts the mounts would ship the next day. They would be shipped priority mail so most likely 2 days to the Chicago area. $100 plus whatever Cattman sells the inserts for which is around $90.
