FS: Gutted Motor Mounts for Energy Suspension Mounts
You can send in in just the front, just the rear, or both if you want. The core price just depends on what mounts I receive back. So you have an automatic or manual trans SE?

yes, but what I am saying is you can't bang them in with a hammer. Had I known this I would have brought them to work and pressed them in. Now the install will be next weekend due to misinformation.
If you do not feel comfortable about pounding the ES inserts into my gutted mounts you can ship or have the ES mounts shipped to me and I will do it for you. That way all you would have to do is bolt them in and ship me the cores back if you chose to do so.
I pressed the old bushings out on a 5 ton press at work. But I hadn't taken the new ES bushings out of the bag. And I read your article saying you can get the bushings into the mounts with a hammer "very easy". This is NOT TRUE
And yes the mount is completely out, I'm a tool and die maker so I do know what I am doing. As soon as I saw the lip on the bushing I knew I was screwed.
I have done 3 sets of LCA bushings, and the ES bushings slide right in. The engine bushings on the other hand require a press as far as I am concerned.

let me know if you come down to a more reasonable price.

I can vouch that getting the ES bushings in is a piece of cake. You have to do it without the metal sleeve in the bushing. A little bit of soap or grease makes life go alot easier.
To the OP, this is a great idea. And considering that you get $50 back when you send in the cores the price isn't bad either.

I need new front and rear mounts for my AT 98 SE.
I've read the price is $100 for front and rear mounts w/ ES bushings. With elctronic motor mounts in front I'll get $30 core refund for returning both or $25 for the rear mount.
Having a smaller non-electric mount up front will this make the ride firmer?
