JWT ECU with 7200RPM FOR SALE!!!

Had this going once and was locked. i can only guess why, because one of the administrators/moderators will not return PM.

Let's say it's me not stating the price. If that's the case, I didn't know it was in the rules.
500$ OBO shipped.
Not ready to go much lower.
As few people that have contacted me, I've quoted the same price for all.
So here goes again and thanks for your interest.

BEST modification you can do for your N/A maxima for the money, after Y pipe.

Had it in combo with Ypipe and it was great.

Will be selling the car soon and don't need it anymore.

Out of my 5spd, extended revs to 7200, N/A program.

JWT ECU.

PM me.
Pics:

thanks again.

Ah that's more like it. I believe it was closed because of no listing price. Should probably clarify if it's a Fed/Cali Spec.

Bump for a decent price on a JWT ECU!

I would also think they locked your thread because as per the rules of the f/s section you need to have your location listed in your profile.

How much power do you estimate this gives you? (I'm assuming that it has the timing advanced and diff. fuel maps and such)

Before ECU I was trapping around 94-95 mph in the quarter mile... after I trapped 99-100 mph...

Yeah, it'd be the first thing to get if you want a little more kick from the Maxima.

Don't lower the price! Tax Returns should be coming soon so peeps should be jumping on it for $500 shipped. Patience Grasshopper.

hahah
thanks!

In all honesty, it was like having done the y-pipe all over again.
Kind of lights up right right around 3000 RPMs and lasts well into 5000.

Especially beneficial for people with MEVIs and such.
Will take it up to 7200 np.

I never dynoed the car, but from cars with comparible modifications, they range anywhere from 190-195 whp, and the ECU itself it good for 10-15 whp.

It's not only that. Throttle becomes more linear, smoother. Drivebility increases.

I wish I had bought this earlier (was waiting for the price to drop off), because it's really worth the money IMHO.

Now I've got a different car, Max is for sale. Will hold this price though.

thanks again.

Those of you with 97-99 cars, does this throw any CEL or stored codes? I never found a clear answer for this.

Yes... 97-99 usually does throw a code (Something with Emissions). I can't remember since the last time I scanned it. -For some reason mine went off... Other guys say theirs stayed on.

99 Maxima won't be able to run these rechipped ECU's

I'm selling JWT ECU for auto transmission

I could start my own thread for this but I don't have the required 15 thread responses... So anyways I sold my 96 Maxima (with the original ECU) and therefore I don't need my JWT modded ECU anymore.

PART NUMBER: EMAX5-NAF00
http://www.jimwolftechnology.com/cus...asp?PartID=154

I bought this when I was in college and it lowered my 1/4 mile times by 0.50 seconds.

I'm selling for same price as maxihari77SE96 was selling his: $500 shipped (within US).

This is really for a 95 Maxima but it worked just fine for my 96 Maxima.

Any questions email me to rjrrum@gmail.com

take pics of the ecu with the part number from JWT, like the former thread starter. That would give credit for the sale.

Be careful. When someone suddenly drops a highly desired item from $475 to $250 in a short period of time, red flags should be raised.

I really doubt it will work for a 98...
I understand the concern that The_Wizard points out... but I'm just trying to get rid of this... no point in dragging it around anymore...
I lowered the price because no one seemed interested first time I posted... therefore I decided to post it on ebay... (Sorry my original intention was not to advertise my ebaylisting... its just the way it went )

Here are some legit pictures:
