I think I blew my rear right (trunk mounted) Bose speaker today. The music wasn't even that loud and it began to rattle like crazy, so I'm guessing it's done. Ironically, this comes a day after I was bragging to someone about just how nice this Bose system hits. Now I find myself turning the bass all the way down in order to listen to anything comfortably. These past few months have been a real pain in the *** - it seems like when one thing breaks, 10 others follow suit. I know it's cliche, but it's true.

Anyway, enough blabbing - does anyone have a rear passenger-side Bose speaker for a '97 Max? Please let me know if you do, I really enjoy this system and would like to start listening to it again.

I have a rear pair of Bose Speakers that I just replace with Pioneer speaker/components through out my 98 Maxima Se, and there in good Bose condition. Let me know if your interested.

How much are you looking to spend with shipping?

I don't really know what to offer, and I don't want to low-ball/offend anyone either. Does $35 shipped sound like a fair offer?

EDIT: I just check with Courtesy Nissan, and they are offering this exact part: [27933] SPEAKER | Maxima (A32B) for $45.71 new. I stand by the previous offer, $35 shipped.

Hey, thanks for the reply! I'm in Tampa, Florida (33615). Is it a Bose unit and will it fit a '97 GLE? Thanks again.

LOL! The most a used replacement Bose speaker would cost is about $5 dollars. I was in ur same situation about a few months ago. The same side speaker blew. What u need is the speaker only, without the amp. I went to the local junkyard here near Boston and only paid 5 bucks. Try doing that first.
