WTB: "Pad-Front Seat Cushion" Driver Side

Looking for a seat cushion in excellent condition if not brand new for a 98 SE, seats are leather (if that matters). Courtesy Nissan Parts has them for $175 which is absurd (part # 87311Q). My driver side seat is crooked and its becoming annoying and uncomfortable. Let me know if yall have any ideas....

Thanks

There is a thread where someone, (Dave B? Maybe..), took hold of the metal seat pan underneath the cushion, and pulled upwards and bent the pan to give more leg support. Basically, what it does is give your legs much needed side bolsters.

As a matter of fact, it works. I read up on that posting, tried it myself, and it really does help. I would assume it would solve your "flat-spot" problem on your seat.

Try it:

Place your fingers underneath the cushion on the left side of the seat, and feel for the metal seat pan. Grasp the metal pan firmly, and basically pry it upward. This will bend the metal pan, creating more of a shape for the seat, and thus eliminating the flat spot. Note: this will take some effort. It's not easy to bend the pan, and once you bend it, NO, it will not bend back to its original shape once you sit down on the seat. You'll find that the pan is structurally strong, even after bending it.

Let me know how it works.

Otherwise, I have a used seat cushion and metal pan for you.

it helped a little bit, but not quite enough...how much would you want for just the cushion? (if its in decent shape)
