F/S: 5spd MT tranny

For sale 5 speed tranny off a 96. Shifted smooth but car was in an accident so helping a friend sell. All sensors will remain on the tranny plus the mount.

if any other 5speed parts are needed let me know

$550 shipped. or if your local $500 picked up.

Not sure if you can answer this, but when bolting this up to a 5th gen, will the shifter sit more forward or more towards the rear?

It's one or the other...

To be honnest I am not sure. I remember a long time ago about the shifter moving but I cant remember what that circumstance was. the 4th gens share the same tranny as the 5th gen but I'm not sure...

oh god, its been so long but i do remember a 5th gen 5 spd trans sits a little toward the rear more like ur 1,3,5 will be like where neutral is

and i think hes gonna need 4th gen open diff driver side axle to go with this trans
but the best guy to ask these questions is Neal (nealoc187)

If he has an MT also more than likely is a US spec with an open diff already which would make this plug and play.

If he has a VLSD then he would need the driver side axle. Which i do have a raxles axle that I could include should it be needed.
