dnt knw 2 much about this setup is this a 5th gen manifold and is it a direct bolt up system for my 99 and i wanted to get the nwp spacer kit would i still need the 4th gen spacer kit or would i have to get the 5th gen spacer kit

Its pretty much a direct bolt on. You'd have to use the 5th gen spacer kit.

A oovi is a Variable intake from a 2000-01 max which is swapped over to a 4th gen .The way it work is u remove the 4th gen upper and lower and replace it with the 5th gen 00-01 Upper/lower intake manifold and what this manifold does is it allows more air to move in to the motor at a cooler temp. The oovi has a actuator on the inside that opens at any rpm u want with the help of a switch(or rpm switch).Its Gives u 20 peak hp at redline when with the stock manifolds the power drops off horribly at redline.Its also a fairly easy swap ive done 4 swaps myself and the gains u get from it is awesome. And with the 00vi tuned it is a beast.

thanks for the info man, it was rly helpful...im trying to bring my max back to life, doing some replacments and routine maintenance stuff, then after that im gonna try and do simple mods, bolt ons and stuff to make a little quicker. so im just collecting info for now.

do you have the RPM switch with the kit theyll need that unless there running a VAFC might wanna add that as a note. for the VIAS to Acutaly work
