FS: TURNKEY, WORKED VQ35 Ready For Drop In*****

I would post this as a Gaining Interest thread but I don’t know if I’m allowed to do that so I’m throwing up a for sale thread to see if anyone's seriously interested....

Sorry for the long story…

What I have is my Vq35de motor which I spent WAY to much money and time on. I had it completely rebuilt from the bottom up with all new aftermarket & OEM internals. It was in my car for not even a year and I only drove it on nice weekends, falling shy of a total of 3,000 miles on the motor (not even broken in). Last weekend I got into an accident but the motor was not affected whatsoever, and I have decided to try and sell the motor and see what happens. I have spent enough money on this motor that I refuse to give it away dirt cheap. Worse comes to worse I’ll get another max and throw it in that chassis.

I am including with the motor my e-manage ultimate and harness which includes a $600 tune specifically for this motor. I know I obviously won’t get back nearly what I put into it but I am pretty reasonable with the price for whoever is seriously interested and wants a motor that’s done right and has *****.

Akuma Motorsports in Morganville, NJ did the tuning. http://www.akumamotorsports.com
They are a highly reputable shop working on Subaru’s, Gtr’s, etc and the head tuner makes all the tune and chip programs for COBB.

This entire setup is essentially a drop in combo aside from wiring up the emanage and the injector clips and a few other odds and ends.

Parts List…

-2002 Block out of a Infiniti I35

-Total Machine work to block and heads $1666

Aftermarket Parts $1900

Cam Adapters
Ported/ Shelf cut Upper Intake manifold
Polished UIM

I’m sure I’m missing something or another.

I also have Cattman Headers, a Custom Dual side exit exhaust, a rebuilt AE LSD 5 speed Transmission with axels, and Spec stage 2+ clutch with Fidanza flywheel setup for sale separate as well.
I might throw in my AEM Wideband and Oil pressure gauge as well, I’m not sure

If someone wants EVERYTHING, just shoot me a PM.

damn man sorry to hear that.. but with all the money youve spent on it I would just buy another max to drop it in. Cant imagine putting that much into it (I know having just completed a 3.5 swap myself) and already getting rid of it. Either way good luck with your decision, it looks like youve done a great job building it!

^^^ He does have a good point. You might as well buy another 4th gen and drop this motor in. Either way it is still a good deal for somone. GLWS

I bet you anything your buddy doesnt use a mustang dyno.. its prolly a dyno jet which reads much higher then the mustang dyno.

^ what casey said. yes the numbers are low and they told me not to be disappointed when they were done tuning because its no wheres near what it really is. i dont know why its so difficult for them to correct it and get real numbers, but the motor was tuned by top of the line guys and makes serious and reliable all-motor power

The loss taken would be so great. I would DEFINITELY drop it in another chassis. That is without a doubt.
