OP - connecting rods? you can get those at most local parts stores, though they may not be in stock, they'll order them for you. (probably a lot cheaper than the used engine too)

 

i have a 97 with only 101k but im in nyc and engine is still in the car so it can test driven as well, but im too far

 

have one in ct a little far tho

 

im in upstate ny... i've got about 80 - 4th gen engines ... already out of the car.... anywhere from 1,800k up to 200k ... all were tested before they were removed...... pm me if your interested.
