why cant you be in NJ !!! im not towing that car here it will cost thousands !! lol id love to get the 5spd tranny mines on its way out. rad core support, hood, hood latch, front spindle and hub, driver fender, rear bumper n spoiler. i have a 99 so i cant use the trunk lid but all well. god i could sell the fidanza and shifter and make most of my money back i have one already ! if you can get it to NJ hit me up.....

The entire car is still up for sale... asking $550 as is.. you pick up/figure shipping... I do not want to bother parting (its not at my house, but at a buddies who lives 20minutes away)... I do not want to be all over it trying to tear apart... and make trips back and forth daily.

just a little FYI this was MexiMax's original transmission before he swapped over to the 6sp.

This is what he had done to prior to me acquiring it...

Cryo Treating (gears, diff, etc..)........Done at Houston Engine and Balancing..
All new bearings
phantom grip

Like I mentioned before, and MexiMax mentioned to me; its a bit notchy as a result of the cryo treating.. there is a piece of the axle broken inside the differential///

This is what Meximax had to say..

" One of the axles sheared off on the diff. This means that its a solid break/cut, and there should be no debris in the diff. The remaining part of the axle "should" be caught via the c-clip.

I think it may come out if you just hit it from the opposite side, just watch out for the carrier pin.

The alternative would be open up the diff and just remove it manually after dis-assembly. "

They do have LSD axles...unsure if you can use non LSD on em or not.

 

You do not use LSD axles for this transmission. The gear/pinion are from the open diff 5-sp, so stock axles go in.

Thanks for ripping me off of $250. You sounded like an honest guy at first. I guess this is my warning to everyone else NOT to buy from this guy. Shame...

I wanted to buy the whole car. I gave him $250 through paypal and then I was gonna give him the rest when I drove the 3 hours or so from Austin to get it. He never responded back to any of my messages. He hasn't even had any activity on here since May. That **** is messed up.

 

File a dispute. IMHO I wouldve paid cash upfront since you guys are somewhat local...sucks to hear that mang

 

All I have to say is that I'm glad I'm not a loser. I'm glad I have enough money to pay my bills and not worry about the $250 ever again.

I just hope that when this dirty **** wakes up, he has hemroids that drag the ground. Take that $250 and stick it up your loser ***.

His last activity was back in May. You might try contacting the local PD to see if you can find him and press charges, but if he is not on here, we can't be of help.

That really sucks, particularly since you are way past the time to file a PayPal dispute.
