FS: 4th Gen Big Bore MAF

Title says it all.. I cut up a stock 4th gen MAF, since its cast as one solid unit as OE.. I fit it into a piece of 3 inch aluminum tubing (inner diameter).. It is completely sealed and fully functional.. It has aluminum honeycomb in the tubing (before the sensor) to account for an accurate laminar reading of air coming in.. My car got totalled and i no longer need this anymore.. This mod requires a VAFCII to tune.. This WILL NOT work on a stock tune without the use of a tuning device such as a VAFCII or something more capable.. This is a great mod and I loved having it!! This made a Huge midrange and high rpm difference for performance... Throttle response is amazing with this.. unfortunately it got totalled before i could dyno.. so butt-dyno is all i can go by.. All i can really say is with this i never really needed to downshift to pass someone anymore once this was installed.. This is a one off piece so u wont find this on a website! Enjoy

where do you go about getting a VAFCII and what exactly do you have to tune for this to be useful?

Ebay? The for sale classifieds on any car forum? Craigslist. Those things are anywhere. U have to tune ur whole afr again. The vafc2 has a maf sensor signal converter option. So that gives u a good base. Well it will get ur car to idle mainly.
