VQ30, VQ35 and Manual Trans swap kit. WILL SHIP!

I have for sale a solid ran well when pulled VQ30 that would be good for someone who wants a spare longblock or something to build up while you keep your car running with its current motor. $150 local but will ship.

Very cool VQ35 RWD truck block with FWD oil pan, FWD coolant routing, full uncut harness to use as you like. This would make for the foundation of a VERY potent FWD turbo motor swap! $400 local but will ship at cost. This is on a skid ready to go!

Full working trans from a 1997 Maxima, trans shifted perfectly when removed. I drove it myself and know. You get the full trans, clutch pedal and pretty much everything you need to make your POS slushbox car a manual beast. You will need a new flywheels and clutch however as these were not in good repair upon removal. $400 local will ship.

If you take the trans and a motor I will take $100 off the cost. These are no haggle prices as I just want to clear the shop floor and make the wife happy. First come first served.

This is in fact what I am saying. No haggle, No BS. Great price and deal.

Shipping is difficult but my friend who is a professional engine builder has clued me into how to deal with this... It goes as follows.

I put the stuff on a pallet and wrap it up and drag it to the dock of the shipping company that has the best deals and a depot close to you. They grab it and take it to said depot where you show up with a pickup or trailer where they toss the stuff your way and you roll off in victory.

If this sounds of interest to you let me know and I will see who has the best rates to as close to you as possible.

If you want it to your door that is also possible but it costs a good bit more. If you have access to a loading dock that would be an in between level where you can get rates better than residential but not quite as good as depot pick up.

Happy to do it however you like. Just say the word.

There is a Estes terminal in Wilmington. I am asking them for a quite from the Columbus terminal to yours for a 450lb pallet which should be just about right.

Max/GTR, for shipping dock to dock its $170 and ends up I think 40 miles from you. To your door with a lift gate is I think $310.

PLEASE NOTE! ALL SHIPPING IS ESTIMATE AND WILL NOT BE FINAL UNTIL I LOCK IT IN!

If I was jacking up the cost I would eat it but this is rock bottom price time and I'm not taking a bath on the shipping.

Thanks for understanding.

Pending deposit for the motor and trans. As such they may be gone with the big bad VQ35 monsta still available.

If this does not sell it will NOT hurt my feelings as the forged steel connecting rods, a microfinished one-piece forged crankshaft will be put to good use.

Booyah!

By the way... if you want the VQ35 for a RWD project I have a 350z pan available for an added $100.

You are all welcome.

As it is a RWD 3.5 it would take a little doing but it is fully workable.

Here are the issues.

1) This is from a early QX4. It has a number of very choice parts but it has the motor mounts in the wrong spots. This is fixable but putting a FWD VQ35 front cover on or just fab up some mounts. We are doing this while putting a FWD motor in a RWD car and our biggest issue was finding a pan that worked. NOT the motor mounts.

2) You need the FWD pan. I have solved this and as such you don't have to fuss with this.

3) Coolant routing is different. I will have swapped all the 4th gen coolant routing stuff onto the motor so this problem is also solved.

4) ECU. The VQ35 is a variable valve motor. You need an ECU to run this OR you need to do the hybrid thing. If you want to hybrid the motor you are swapping the snout on from a FWD motor anyway so this makes the motor mount thing a MUCH smaller issue. You could also just use the ECU from a Pathfinder or maybe an early maxima and try and keep the Variable timing.

5) Tire wear. You are going to be killing a lot of them as all the power you will make will make it very hard to keep any on the car. Swap some cams in and put on headers at the same time and forward motion may be difficult to obtain.

I have deposit on the trans and the VQ30.

The VQ35 is still up for grabs but I have a guy doing a 240sx swap sniffing at it.

Oddly the trans sale fell through.

A friend has spoken for the motor but the trans is back on the block.

Dracc has right of first refusal, otherwise this will go on ebay.

Thanks!

VQ35 is in limbo for now. We are using a few bits off it in our racecar but nothing that I think will be of importance for anyone who will use it for a swap as it will have similar bits and pieces put back on.

Only thing we are stealing that MAY be of note is the rear coolant log that runs from the drivers side head to the psg side head and around. This is nice to have if you are looking to keep the motor RWD but if you are trying to put this into a FWD you will be provided the proper FWD coolant routing gear at no additional cost.

As I am not fully sure what pieces will be with the motor when its not in limbo I am not ready to post a pic as it may well not look exactly as the pic once its ready to ship.

Once we get closer to moving this monster we will have pics available. It is however VERY clean inside and will come with warranty paperwork from the yard I got it from.

Options for that motor still include either maxima oil pan or 350z pan for extra $ and also the option of an 00vi intake for extra $.

PS- I will also be selling my 00vi intake. Why? It will hit the damn firewall if we use it in our rwd racecar. If we flip it 180 deg and run it forward it will cover our oil fill neck. As such we will be using the truck intake.

Trans is in effect sold and only if the current buyer in line bows out will I bother to go all the way back to the garage where our stuff is stored and take pics in the interest of a sale. It shifted well with now issues before coming out of the car however and I think that is more important than how it looks.

If the question about pics however is about trying to make sure I am legit, I fully understand that.

Our race team fb page is at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Mutton...44817122228200

Feel free to drop by and see what we are stuffing all these Nissan bits into and find out what we are going to try and do with them.

Sorry to ask for time on the 00vi as well but as I said, it will be for sale.

If we can figure out a way to make a little room at the back of the motor we will be doing cowl induction which would be sort of badassed I think. As we will most likely NOT deal with the added labor and pain to save 3-5 lbs and add 5hp or so over the other intake we have I doubt we will use it.

Not even sure what to ask for the unit at this point as I have not bothered to look at them for ages as we have had this one sitting waiting to be used.

Dracc had life happen so Boogie is up.

I am about ready to make someone a heck of a firesale price on the VQ35, trans kit, 350z oil pan and 00vi all at the same time.

The shop is crowded and building a new racecar is expensive. Lets make some parts go away this week. You have your income tax back... you know you wanna do it! 8)

Guess I am driving to the shop tomorrow to get pics of EVERYTHING. I will even try and get a USA today or something in the pic as proof of life.

I added a few questions in my email to you today that I will need to have answered to make sure my proposal on shipping is workable. It should be but business with dock, pick up at depot or deliver to home with liftgate truck makes a BIG difference.

5 speed transmission swap kit as described above. Shifted well with zero issues and came from a running car that was sacrificed as parts for racecar. It was a totally trashed chassis so don't cry for it.

I sold the VQ30 and trans kit but after sending deposit the buyer had to bow out. I am ok with this as I would rather someone not get stuck with parts that they can't use that will just sit.

Second buyer had issues that did not allow them to follow through.

Boogie is up and tells me that he wants the whole kit and wants pics and shipping quote. I need more info to give a more accurate quote than I have given him as some details could make $100 or more difference in shipping a 500lb pallet.

I will give him a little more time but as I drove an hour each way to our teams garage today to get him the pics he wanted I may be less forgiving with delays as I want to get a move on.

In short, if I do not get a deposit soon it will go to the first person who shows me cash. :P

Well, I'm interested in the 5-spd tranny. My max is already a 5-spd and I recently starting hearing some extra neutral noise. I'm guessing a rebuild would end up running me in the $500 range if I do the R&R. Mind getting me a shipping quote to somewhere close to zip code 62522, I can pick it up at a terminal or depot as long as it's within 30 miles or so. If there isn't a shipping company that would work with I may be able to have it shipped to the dock at work, but I'll have to do some checking on that. Guess I'm just placing myself on deck, for a portion of it, if that's all right.

If you have access to a dock at work, try to go that way as it ends up where you are and we are getting quotes these days where it costs LESS to do this than depot pick up. I guess these folks would rather unload, reload and use more fuel to deliver than to put up with folks in their warehouse?

I am a bit worried about Boogie. Dude has my email and phone number but posts here that he wants pics which I drive 2 hours and pi$$ off my wife to get and I got nothing but dead air ever since.

I even got a bigger pallet and wrap to make sure we could get him his stuff shipped and keep it all nice and neat and dry

Oh Boogie?! Where are you? Hope dude is ok.

I will give him until tomorrow morning and one more email to claim his stuff or let me know whats going on but at that point its up for sale again.

I would rather move larger blocks of stuff but they are all choice parts that will have real value to the right person so I can split them up. I just am tired of dealing with this crap. Drive racecar > build racecar > talk about racecar > dental office visit > sell parts. Just saying.

Ok, Batdude is up on the trans. Anyone inside a 6 hourish drive I am willing to hand deliver most parts.

00vi price is $200 shipped for the whole thing with rail, upper and lower, all the gizmos I have left over and such. I quoted Boogie $210 shipped but he made me drive 2 hours on a day off and pi$$ off my wife so he pays an extra $10 if he wants it. Not pleased the the guy all but admits he wants pics just to see if I am real then tucks his skirt after saying he wants everything. Extra cash off to anyone who wants to go and junk punch him up in his man business.

Other prices as above. Let me know if you have questions or want to cut a deal.
