Thanks Senor Panda (respectfully I say that). I don't know you but I respect your opinion because of your super fly hooked up Maxima. I don't understand how people realistically think the stock USIM is even close at keeping up with the MEVI/JWT. Before I installed the MEVI and ECU my friend had the setup while I was running stock. We were both coasting at about 65 MPH and both in 2nd. I stepped on the gas first and then he did, the moment he stepped down his car took a jump over mine and kept crawling away with ease. He walked my *** down the highway. FYI I'm not talking illegal street racing I know that is forbidden here, just giving an example of the huge difference.

700 for an ecu upgrade and VI isnt too bad of a deal, labor is like nothing and you still get a decent platform. Both can be applied to a FI setup, so not a real loss there if one wanted to move forward.
Spending over 1k, plus the labor just isnt ideal for some, you make it sound so easy yet you still havent completed your "simple" swap yet.

Stop clouding up this poor feller's thread, you can bring it over to my engine swap thread if you want, that's what it's for anyways

Actually, I've already spoken on the subject a while back IIRC.... Have you seen the cost of a GSR motor
