Looking for 1998 vin tag, using it for a race car.

 

Um, why would a race car need a VIN?

And why is yours missing?

 

Mine isnt missing, the series that I road race car in has valued the 1999 at a much higher point level than the 96-98. It makes no sense but the rules are the rules. The more points a car has the more laps down you start the race and the less room you have for speed parts. I have never been checked but need one as we are getting faster. It will be only a matter of time before someone asks to see it. Also, car is fully caged and interior vin is gone, only tag we have left is under hood on firewall.
