FS: Selling 2001 engine

Selling my 2001 engine that is in my 96 maxima . I have had this in since it had 23k on it. it has 112k on it now. Runs very strong and i have only used nissan filters and mobil 1 synthetic.last filter was a fram , since 23k.

The intake manifolds are 96,as are the injectors. These are the old stuff, swapped over from the old engine.
You can have anything off the car when you pick up the engine. The engine is dusty and dirty ,needs cleaning.
If i get interest in the engine i will pull it.
I still drive the car but will be taking it of the road soon.

This engine is super strong and sounds great.

$250 picked up. firm

what do you mean plug and play? You would need to put your own accessories on.And you should probably put a new lower oil pan on.Can get them new for $20-30.
And it needs new exhaust studs. They came out when undoing exhaust manifolds. About $2 a piece.

I have finally, taken the engine out.And separated the transmission. And other things.

In the next week or two i will have it ready. I'll do a light clean up drain the oil and have it lifted up by the engine hoist.
Then i'll take some pictures.

Ok here is the pictures like a said there is oil everywhere. PS pump has been leaking for years . And last trans in the car blew apart.
and you can see pieces of aluminum by the rear main. With a .lot of oil.

It is rusty and corroded ,i have a lot of salt up here on the roads. With the oil pan may need the bottom seal and rear main . Not sure ,because of the mess. But i never had any oil loss in the motor.

If you still want it i have other parts i can give with the motor. Mint timing cover access covers,Valve covers, 00 VI ect bunch of things.

I good cleaning it does need. It's a good strong motor.
