Parting out Black 98 GLE

T4r. I can't figure out my electrical issue and I think I am going to cut my losses. 157k miles on the car, no spark but cranks. Engine ran great until it stopped sparking after a clutch job. Some interior trim is not worth removing, otherwise the car is complete. It is a 5 speed, but I have strong evidence it is actually an a/t conversion. Let me know what you need and I will look into it!

I have some gaskets NIB that I will list:

Front valve cover
Exhaust plenum
Rear valve cover
Fms/crank seal

Edit: Here are some photos of the interior, pardon the clutter, gaskets and part boxes, my friends gloves...

I also want to add that I am located in NJ.

I believe so. The seats are grey cloth, but the majority of the interior is black . I will upload pics later, as I keep it at my garage and am at work.

It is not, the VIN points at an automatic GLE and it was sold as a GLE, but is in fact Manual.

For the right price. It was waaaaay more than I expected to ship < 1 lb to texas, I think it would be better for both of us if you picked it up personally.

No leather, no bose, no auto climate, no variable wipers, must be a one of a kind GLE.

had the same issue after converting to 5 speed. its the sensor, I believe by the flywheel sensor. it has to be aligned properly or you'll have no spark.

you might have to bore out the hole a little to line it up properly. once this was done on my maxima, it started right up.

if you have any EGR parts let me know, Im looking for the black plastic housing thats tied in for Vacuum with the evap canister solenoid.

No spark crank

Add a couple good grounds to your motor, and add a ground to your transmission and itll fire right up.

How much for the tombstone trim, where the clock and hazard switch sits. I don’t need the clock, hazard switch, rear defroster switch, or the vents. Just the trim piece.

@AVP198 $5 before shipping. You've managed to pick one of the few trim pieces that isn't broken!

Apparently my message didn’t go through. Not sure why I’m back to noon status since I’ve been on the forum for years but whatever goodhand is that trim piece still available?
