Will there be any sound difference with the WSP test pipe and the RT cat that I have now?

The test pipe looks pretty good. Gaskets and bolts are included too.

not major, slightly louder...(speaking from na motors) you can say the same for gains....slight.....but if i remember you are boosted? if so...... you'll get a few more hp supposedly

No, I'm NA. Slight gain is better than no gain. I didn't noticed any difference whatsoever with the RT cat. Hopefully, the test pipe will yield a better result.

If the WSP test pipe gets rid of the S-bend where the o2 sensor is, then you might notice a gain, otherwise no.

You definatally won't notice a difference in power. The fact is that the stock cat is fairly free flowing and you might gain like 1.5HP to the wheels by straight piping it. The MAJOR gains are found only in the downpipe, as we all know it is o2/precat city.

I didn't notice any gain from my WSP testpipe, so if there is a gain its very minimal. Sound with Cattman Y, stock B and stock muffler got a little additional rumble to it, and a strange hiss at about 6000 RPM which is actually cool because it acts kindof like a shift light.

I'm not sure if the hiss is from the pipe itself or a vibration that is only noticeable at 6000rpms.

Hm...it seem that maybe the test pipe yield more noticeable gains for SC/TC/NOS Maximas? Doesn't seem to yield noticeable gains for NA Maximas. Oh well, I got it at a very good price.

I'm sure the test pipe is similar to having a gutted cat. I know after I hollowed my cat out the exhaust got a little bit louder. Mainly though, whenever I left off the gas while in gear the exhaust seems to gurgle a little bit in the lower rpm range. It's actually kind of cool. I installed the y-pipe at the same time so cannot be sure about gains. I'm sure you'll be happy.

I'm hoping my testpipe will help increase flow a little when my car really starts gulping some air N/A... with VI, JWT ECU at the 7000rpm rev limiter, and full exhaust mods.
