New Budget Y-pipe & Dyno Results

I can not believe this!
I just got back from getting my car dynoed after adding my Budget Y-pipe. (all numbers SAE corrected)

First Dyno Feb 2000 with Stillen Cone (everything else stock):
160 HP
175 foot lbs torque
I think the Stillen cone is good for about 7 HP, as my buddies bone stock 99 Maxima ES (Special Canadian model) dynoed at 153 HP, 170 foot-lbs torque.

I installed my Budget y-pipe last Friday, and dynoed it today.
Are you ready?
178 HP!
182 foot-lbs torque!
This is with the Stillen Cone, stock b-pipe, and muffler!

My car has 239,000 KM (149,000 miles) on it.

BUT that is only the PEEK numbers.
At 6,000 RPM I am up 27 foot pounds of torque!
At 6,200 RPM I am up 31 HP!

I love my y-pipe! Thanks Budget!
I love my Maxima!

Next week end, I am off to Cayuga (local drag park) to see if I am in the "14" club!

(I will update my web site with all pics soon. I am too busy driving my "new" Maxima now to be working on the computer)
