Which exhaust setup will yield better gains?
Which exhaust setup will yield better gains?
I currently have a Warpspeed Y-pipe and hybrid intake, and I want to know if I should get a WSP B-pipe and an aftermarket muffler, or if I should shell out the big bucks and get a full cat-back system. Which will yield better gains? And sound better? And with the B-pipe, will getting the pipe w/ the resonator decrease the performance vs. if there was no resonator? I would like to save the money by getting the B-pipe and muffler, but if there are better gains with a cat-back, I will go with that. Help if you can, thanks. -Dave
I personally would not spend the big bucks on a full catback system. Its basically the same thing if you go with the WSP b pipe and aftermarket muffler. Aftermarket catback systems are way overpriced. It should give you similar gains...the only difference will be the noise from the muffler you choose. And keeping your resonator will not make you lose drastic gains. Just to keep it to make it quieter.
the WS is a good choice....there isnt much gains to be had either way from the catback....at most 5-10, little more if your boosted....having said that, dont wanna spend too much money unless you plan on going boosted (i.e.$tillen or Greddy)....the Apex'i or WSP B w/aftermarket muffler are both good choices, with the WSP b and muffler being cheaper
