- Hey peoples, I realize that we have approximately 500,002 threads on Y-pipes right now, but...
- Is there any difference (besides construction) between a stainless steel versus a ceramic y-pipe? I was always under the impression that the ceramic was better because it reduces heat seeping into the engine compartment, but everybody seems to favor the SS design. Is there any change in power or durability between the two?
- Thanks! ;-)

hmmmmm, stillen changed over to ceramic because a lot of people wanted their pipes to last over time and many people were going with cattman s.s. the whole heat thing with ceramic vs. s.s is true in theroy but i don't thing anyone has done tests. i'm going with the stillen due to the price i'm getting it for. people go with cattman because it will last for a couple of winters plus it has a good design. but with the new stillen one you never know it could kick a$$.
