I recently bought what I was told was a cattman y-pipe, however looking at the pictures on cattman's website, I don't think it's the same one. Anyway, I put it on yesterday, and it sounds like crap. It sounds so bad that I thought I had an exhaust leak, but then I realized the sound is coming from the muffler. Any ideas on what it could be. I have a bad knock sensor, if that matters. I wasn't sure if the messed up timing would change the sound at all. thanks in advance. Stevo

 

any pics of ur ypipe? wat exhaust u have? ypipe shouldn't change the sound of ur stock exhaust..well maybe by a lil, but not really noticeable

 

I just got my car not long ago. Everything else performance wise is stock, no exhaust modifications. When ever I give more than about 1/4 or 1/3 throttle, it sounds like there is a leak, could something have gotten loose and started leaking in the back somehow? Any help at all would be appreciated.

You'll see pictures of the two pipes: Look along the pipe bends and if you can see weld lines then it's a cattman, also look at the collector (where the two pipes meet). Warpspeed also uses a longer flex section.
