MEVI and NOS kit #5124

My fellow .ORG members:

I will be installing my MEVI in about 10 days (been recovering from knee surgery and moved or I would have done it sooner). It has been sitting in my house for a few weeks. I am curious if there should be any adverse effects if I install my NOS kit with this intake manifold?

I have no reason to believe there should be because the runners open up at a higher RPM

Anyone running a dry kit with the MEVI?

I wonder how the MEVI would affect how hard the nitrous hits.

Thanks DL

Anyone......Anyone......

I think MardiGrasMax is running this, or a similar setup. If he doesn't reply in this thread you may want to try to pm him. Good luck. I can't wait for my VI; all though I won't be on the happy gas.

Toolrocks, where did you get your assorted parts at?

If you're referring to the VI itself, I ordered mine through IanS' group deal. In addition to the parts IanS is providing, I've ordered a Harlan RPM switch. I still need to get various hoses, a vacuum canister, and possibly a vacuum switch (if IanS doesn't ship one w/ my VI). I think I'll also have to get a few various screws to assemble the butterfly valves to the butterfly rod. I've also got a Stillen pop, and a WSP y with a new cat and WSP b on the way. My best time at the track has been a 14.87 on heavy 17s - I hope the VI will improve that.

I have the MEVi

I will need to just get the assorted components. Hoses, relay, canister etc.
