installing 17x7.5 43+ offset rims.Spacer ?

i recently purchase a set of 5 zigen heldifed 17x7.5 with lug pattern 5x114 offset is 43+. When i was trying to put it on couple of days ago, the studs is off center from the rims lug pattern and i thought thats only for the rear but no the front rims too.Well to solve this problem Which many people told me to just get a wheel spacer and it will do the trick, so i went to pepboys got one of those universal spacer and try to put it on again, it didn't even work. And now im stuck, Can any one help me ! Does any one know if H&R 5mm will work and if it does do i need to extend the studs or is already come with it any idea on how much would it be for all 4 wheels?.. please let me know
thanks !!!!

You will be ok with H&R 5mm spacers, no longer wheelstuds needed. The H&R spacers (hubcentric) aren't cheap, but well worth it if spacers are called for. Good luck.

thanks for the info maxgurl but what do you mean by if spacers are called for? do you mean by if they are the probelm of the fitting issue? If i purcahse the H&R spacer for all 4 of my rims would that solve the probelm of fitting my rims on to my car? or do you have other clue ?
please let me know btw any ideas on how much they cost? for all 4 ?
thanks!!

I thought spacers pushed the wheel away from the car, not centered the wheel on the hub. If the holes don't match up with the lugs, it sounds like a lug pattern issue.

Of course, I may have misread the whole post.

Oh, and I'm running 17x7.5" +45 w/ 80mm centerbore. I believe I've got hubcentric rings, but no spacers. I think.

H&R spacers come by the pair. Cost for all 4 (without studs) will run you over $100 easily.

Spacers are used primarily for either one of these purposes (generally):
a. For the wheels to clear aftermarket big brake kit (larger calipers)
b. For aesthetic purposes (look more aggressive with the wheels push out a few mm's)

I'm not a big expert on offsets so I won't comment on that. (try the search function on upper right corner of the page, type in keyword offset and you'll find plenty of related threads).

More importantly, if your generic spacers didn't work, buying H&R spacers would not solve your problem either.

If you bought your rims from a shop, they should of asked what make/model you have and sold you wheels with the correct application.

What the heck do you mean "the studs is off center from the rims lug pattern" do you mean the wheel studs and lug holes are not the same pattern?

In that case, it's not a spacer issue. You need to return the wheels.

Spacers have nothing to do with your problem. The wheels you recieved are not the correct bolt pattern. You need 5x114.3mm. I know you said thats what they are, but if the lugs don't line up, thats NOT what they are. Return 'em.
