Having Problems With Throttle...!!!

I just had a pipe as well as a pop charger intake installed. I tested it out on the highway last night. for whatever reason, the gas pedal seemed to only go down half way and then it seemed to be a little stuck. Then if i gave it a little more pressure i would be able to get it to go to the floor so that the engine could WOT. That was a little concerning to me, but it really became a problem when i let off of the gas pedal, the engine wouldn't respond, The car engine continued to stay WOT even though my foot was no longer on the gas. To say the least I was scared as ****,...I started steeping on the brake everything, the car continued to keep gaining speed and i mean fast. I got the car to stop accelerating by mashing on the gas again which stopped the egined from staying WOT. Good thing it was around 11 pm, on an open road or i could have been in some trouble. My question to you guys/gals, is what caused it, and how can i correct. Thanks!!!!

thanks, but i just saw what the problem was last night, one of the clamps were in the way, and it needed to be re positioned. If there is anything else that might cause it, let me know....

Open your hood and look at the throttle cable linkage. It's hanging up on something. Shouldn't be to hard to find. I bet the screw that holds the intake pipe on the TB is jutting out and hitting the cable linkage. E Z FIX

Just fixed a minute ago, the clamp was making it so that the car would only go half throttle. I'll test it on the road for real today. But on another note, this intake that was made for me, sounds like a beast. If frankencar sounds anything like this or lets the engine rev this fast, they have a great product. Once me and nightrider paint it, i'll post a pic. I was only going half throttle last night (about 3500 rpm's) and people were looking at my car like what the F$%K!!!! I plan on keeping the sleeper look, stock wheels, 4x4 gap, everything. All performance mds until i get my y, and VI. I will remove my racing stripe this weekend while i paint the intake. That stripe says family sedan just a little too much for me.
