ECU Governors in GXE???
Hey, I was wondering from previous comments about ECU on GXEs...
All GXE's have that or is it just for some?
And what does C & C stand for? (climate control? ;-)
I was able to hit 119 without the benefit of radar detector on I-85 near Atlanta before the Grand Prix in front fried his brake pads--'cause he had detector and there was a coppp.
By the way, I have 95 GXE, auto.
And is there any way to find out if my ECU has a lord governing it? Like a serial number on ECU or something like that? Or do I have to find out the hard way...hitting all the way?
Thank you much for all helps.

Re: ECU Governors in GXE???
I have a stock automatic '97 GXE and have gotten it to 135 on the freeway. I don't know if the engine could keep pushing but it's governed at that point or if thats just as fast as my car will go. either way thats as fast as I need to go on the freeway.
