my uncle has a prelude and on the side of the door inside, by the jam, it says the weight is like 3200 and i was like this cant be right. so i looked at my car it says something over 4000! how can this be, i thought the max weighed in at like 3100 or so. this is prolly a stupid question but im confused can anyone solve this mystery for me

 

That big number is the MAXIMUM weight, including fuel, passengers and cargo that the car can handle.

what happens if you exceed that weight? will axles break?
